Presentations on the draft ESIA for Kambarata-1 HPP Project Released

The Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic has published on the official Kambarata-1 Hydropower Plant project website all presentations delivered on 4–5 November 2025 in Istanbul, Turkey, during the international consultations on the draft Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) for the Kambarata-1 HPP.

Please note that, due to the Kambarata-1 project’s regional significance, the deadline for submitting comments and suggestions on the draft ESIA has been extended until 5 December 2025.
